Join us at 6pm on November 25th for our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Dave Russel from Warm 103.3 will be here along with the Lyric Bands and local singing groups to all join in, in celebrating the start of the Christmas Season! Prepare your voice to help in the countdown of 3, 2, 1.. as the switch is flipped turning on the lights to our community Christmas tree. We can't wait to see you there!

Emerge Church will be serving free hot chocolate during the Christmas Festival (while supplies last)! Visitors can find them outside Santa’s Cabin in Center Square and warm up with a cup of holiday cheer. Their mission is to remind everyone that God’s love is free — a simple and sweet message for the holiday season.
Stockings for Veterans & Seniors Drop-Off Booth A group of caring local citizens from the Hanover area will have a booth set up during the Christmas Festival in Downtown Hanover as a stocking drop-off location for veterans and senior citizens in need this holiday season. You’re invited to “stuff a stocking” and spread some cheer! Bring a filled stocking or individual items to donate during the festival. Suggested stocking items include: Non-slip socks, Lotions and hand sanitizer, Snacks, cocoa, or tea, Stationery items and tissues, Pajamas, Lip balm, A Christmas card from you, the donor. Please do not include any sharp objects (razors for grooming, etc.) For many of our local veterans and senior citizens, this may be the only gift they receive this Christmas — your kindness will make a world of difference.

The Greater Hanover Area Fire Museum will have their 8th Annual Model Train Garden open from 11am-7pm.
Wren and Bluebird Boutique will be giving out a FREE gift to the first 20 people who visit, as well as other holiday sales and raffles. Additionally, if you buy a gift card, you will receive a 20% off coupon to be used in store.

On November 29, December 6, 13, 20, and 27, stop by our stand at the Hanover Market House to learn more about our holiday activities, get answers to your event-related questions, and support the festivities by purchasing merchandise. All proceeds go toward holiday events, decorations, and activities.

To make your holiday visits easier, we’re offering free parking in all metered spaces throughout the downtown district on Fridays and Saturdays, from November 28 to December 27. This is our way of encouraging you to enjoy the holiday activities and support local businesses while extending your time in downtown Hanover.
